1958 Chevy truck built by Fesler for Brian Fuentes. (#40 for the Oakland Athletics) This truck is hand-built and just a blast to drive. It has a GM 572 crate engine with a custom fuel injection system, a computer that is tuned for speed, a 4L85E transmission, a fully-built Currie rear axle, a hand-built frame, (with a new sub frame welded in) on tubular control arms and completely custom rear links. The suspension enables it to sit right on the ground without scratching anything. The braking system consists of Fesler six-piston brakes by Baer. The wheels are Fesler 22” FS-906 all-black wheels with brushed center sections, wrapped in Pirelli tires.
Also included are a Vintage Air front runner system, oversized aluminum radiator with matching fan to run in hot temperatures, painted 572 valve covers and custom headers and exhaust that output to Flow Master Super 40s. Viair compressors and Kinetik batteries power the AccuAir air suspension control system, coupled with QA-1 shocks all the way around. An enormous 30+ gallon, stainless steel fuel tank is custom-fit into the rear. The hood, bed, tail-gate and bed cover open on hydraulic rams at the touch of a button.
A Viper alarm system with remote start and phone control, protects the dash-mounted Pioneer DVD/Navigation unit and gigantic, custom-built Rockford Fosgate sound system. The interior boasts German-engineered Recaro seats, a hand-built, metal center console, Dakota Digital gauges set into a new dash with a custom look, tinted power windows, and an interior hand-built by Fesler. (with red lights everywhere for a “sinister” look) The entire body of the truck is shaved smooth, the front is accented by Fesler HID headlights and the top is chopped to achieve a very particular feel.
